Venture’s new collaboration is with foodpediabd_ (their instagram username). The account is run by two friends namely, Saif and Shafi from Dhaka, Bangladesh. Both of them are currently students, Saif studies BBA in marketing at ULAB (University of Liberal Arts) and Shafi studies Law as a private candidate at Vertical Horizon. When we asked about how they manage their page along with their studies, they said “We both manage the page together, so it's a bit less pressure for both of us. And we have divided our work to make it easier for us.”
These two share their amazing reviews on the food at different restaurants of Dhaka. They review, rate and give fabulous descriptions to help people discover delicious places. When asked what inspired them to open this page, they said “we started to follow feastersbd and reel crunch from a long time and mainly these bloggers are the one who inspired us to start our own blogging journey”. They said their favourite restaurants in Dhaka are “Cheez”, “Painted Chopsticks”, “Polaoghor” and “Secret recipe.” You guys should definitely try them out!
When stressed or overwhelmed, foodpediabd_ said “We eat chocolates or we share our problems with one another to feel better”. Their hobbies include playing guitars and taking pictures. They said “Well, we both love to play guitar and we jam together at times, and we love to take pictures of nature, as well as food”. During quarantine they tried to keep themselves and their blog active by cooking food and posting it themselves. When we asked them, they said “We are learning a few new things, which includes cooking whereas we never cooked before. As for engaging with the followers, we're always trying to bring good, quality content with which they are satisfied. And we are trying to post reviews of food by ordering them online as it is not a wise decision to go out during this pandemic.”
They said their greatest achievement was being able to meet with many food bloggers and know them personally. They also said “And we also learned a lot of things from them which really helped us grow.”
The message foodpediabd_ would like to convey to their followers is:
“We would like to thank our followers for supporting us throughout this whole journey and helping us come this far. Moreover, they are not just our followers, but our family, a small foodie family.”
